There’s a certain kind of light in Zion right before the sun disappears, when the cliffs turn ember-soft and everything slows down like the canyon is exhaling. That’s where Last Light lives.
I am honored to offer a photography experience for your beloved soul dog.
These are designed as a ritual of remembrance. A way to honor them while they are still here, and to create heirlooms you’ll reach for when they’re gone.
If it feels right, we can include one small ritual moment during your session, like:
A short “Good Dog Letter.” You write a few sentences beforehand (I’ll give prompts). During the session, you read it quietly to them or hold it against your chest while they rest near you.
A collar blessing. You place their collar or bandana gently around their neck with intention, as a way of saying: thank you, thank you, thank you.
A final treat, slowly given. Not for tricks, just for tenderness.
None of this is required. The ritual is in the attention and affection you’re paying. I’m just giving you ideas on how to make it feel like a ceremony.
You'll pick an activity or a specific place
(if you are local) that holds special meaning or memory for you and your dog.

Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you.
We will select a location to explore for approximately an hour, resulting in around 50-75 images in the final gallery.Don't worry, I know how deeply important these memories are, so you'll have plenty to cherish.
Absolutely, after 15 years of time and practice, I am a master editor. I can edit out the leash no problem.
I'll send you a handful of sneak peak shots a couple of days after we shoot. 2 weeks later, you'll receive a link to your online gallery with easy download and printing options
YES! We have set this up multiple times as a gift, and it's always the sweetest thing. You could even tag along for support if the owner would need that.
